This course is something of a Fresno institution, dating back to 1952 and a design by Bart Stamps. The course is owned by the City of Fresno and currently operated by Club Corp. The standard walking rates are $34 on weekdays, then $37 on weekends and holidays; carts are $14/person. A wide variety of sliding twilight, junior, senior, cardholder, and cart discounts are available, however.

I played this old Muni the other Wednesday and the greens were pretty sweet if not a bit hard. The grounds were well kept given the course's age, # of rounds played and city budget cuts. I paid 417 with a cart via Groupon and felt like it was a good value. Very short course that rewards accuracy.

Greens are in great shape now. Fairways are starting to die of thirst though. Water the fairways Rick.

Greens were just punched and sanded so the greens will be a little rough for a while. Might want to wait a few weeks to play however the rough has a already already started to turn to weeds as the grass is dying.... on some holes even on the fairways. With all the rain I thought it might last longer this year.
